And here actually both terms get a bit interleaved, as emotional flashback does happen on an intuitive level. It's wrongly installed intuition. What is intuition? It's an implicit memory based on which ones draws conclusions, without actually remembering or being able to verbalize the memory. If the memory is a traumatic one - we have an emotional flashback.

Don't follow them blindly. Double check your intuition. If something feels very familiar that's a red flag. The feeling that "yes! I know it's this one" is a red flag! Stop and think.
